Main Story:
The story follows Ippo Makunouchi, a shy and bullied high school student who works at his mother’s fishing business. His life changes when he meets a professional boxer, Mamoru Takamura, who saves him from bullies and introduces him to the world of boxing.
Inspired by the question “What does it mean to be strong?”, Ippo joins the Kamogawa Boxing Gym and begins his journey as a boxer. Through intense training, brutal matches, and powerful rivals, Ippo grows step by step, aiming to become the Japanese champion and eventually reach the world stage.
The story focuses not only on Ippo but also on other boxers, each with their own motivations and struggles.
